Elevate Africa is proud to announce the selection of the Elevate Africa Fellowship (EAF) Class of 2026, a dynamic cohort of 23 exceptional leaders drawn from across the continent.

Selected from a highly competitive pool of over 4,000 applicants, with more than 700 completed submissions, this year’s cohort represents 18 African countries across five regions, a reflection of the depth, diversity, and promise of leadership across Africa.
The Elevate Africa Fellowship is a prestigious mid-career, pan-African leadership programme designed for professionals with a proven track record of driving meaningful change.
Targeted at leaders with 10–15 years of experience, the Fellowship focuses on refining leadership capabilities, strengthening influence, and amplifying the impact of individuals already shaping their sectors.
At its core, the Fellowship is built on a powerful belief: Africa’s challenge is not a lack of talent but a gap in supported, visible and connected leadership at the mid-career level.
Through a structured and immersive experience, Fellows will engage in:
- Leadership development sessions grounded in African realities
- Mentorship and coaching from experienced leaders and practitioners
- Cross-sector collaboration and peer learning
- Thought leadership opportunities contributing to African discourse
- A capstone project designed to drive real-world impact
The programme operates through a hybrid model, combining virtual sessions, in-person convenings and ongoing engagement within a growing pan-African network.
As the Class of 2026 begins this journey, we look forward to witnessing the ideas they will shape, the systems they will influence, and the impact they will create across the continent and beyond.
